Trout Fishing Trips

Description

In the off season the focus shifts back to the freshwater scene with Connecticut’s numerous stocked trout streams and rivers. Centerpin and float fishing with spinning gear is an incredibly productive way to fish rivers and streams. I’ve spent the past six years honing and perfecting this style of fishing on the tributaries located in Upstate and Western New York for both salmon and steelhead, and utilize them here at home on our stocked trout waters with amazing results. The gear and techniques give you the ability to cover more water and present an offering to the fish in the most natural way possible. This style of fishing often produces quantity and quality, with some of my largest Connecticut trout finding the net after dropping a float. Whether you’re looking to catch your first trout, catch your PB,  or learn a new way to fish your favorite water this style of fishing will provide an exciting and rewarding day on the water.
